Light Loves Color · The High-Worth Impressions Method

Stop leaving your first impression
to chance.

The skills that help influential people look credible and get taken seriously usually stay inside small rooms. This is your way in.

I’m Tatyana Wilson, Ed.S., SHRM-CP. I trained under and was mentored by Sandy Dumont, The Image Architect, who advised influential people in Washington, D.C., and I now carry her business and body of work forward. As an educator, I’m bringing what she taught to everyday women: color, strategic dressing, body language, communication, and social dynamics, so you come across as credible and sure of yourself and still feel like you, not like you’re performing.

Who this is for

She isn’t shy, insecure, or unsuccessful.

What these women share isn’t a job title. It’s the gap between what they’re actually worth and what other people see.

A real estate agent who knows her market inside out, but can’t command the fees or the client trust a competitor gets.

A consultant whose recommendations get treated as optional suggestions instead of expert advice.

A woman stepping into a new social circle who wants to feel at ease among accomplished people, without pretending to be someone else.

A woman who’s dating and is tired of feeling she has to impress someone with money or status to be wanted.

A soft-spoken business owner whose work is excellent, but who hasn’t learned to put its value into words.

That gap shapes who gets listened to, who gets the opportunity, who can charge more, who’s trusted with decisions, and who feels comfortable setting standards in relationships.

The principle

Your worth isn’t something you have to prove.
But communicating it is a skill you can learn.

Some outcomes also depend on bias, power, and other people’s choices. We work on the signals you control. Nobody can promise you respect from a formula, and an unfair judgment isn’t your fault.

Five areas we work on

From what you wear to what you say—and how you carry yourself in between.

01

Visual Authority

Color, clothing, proportion, fit, structure, grooming, and accessories. Build a wardrobe that looks intentional and suits the situation. Sandy Dumont’s Image Architect work is the foundation here.

02

Verbal Authority

Introduce yourself, make recommendations, ask good questions, and explain your value without overexplaining. You don’t have to get loud to be heard.

03

Physical Presence

Posture, movement, facial expression, gesture, space, and voice. Learn what different cues may communicate, then choose them on purpose instead of following rigid rules.

04

Social Authority

Status, expectations, reciprocity, boundaries, and negotiation, and the small ways we hand over or keep our say in decisions.

05

Putting it all together

Client meetings, pricing conversations, networking, presentations, dating, family, and big transitions. Not a costume. A way of choosing how you show up, again and again.

What’s different here

Not a makeover. A skill you keep.

High worth isn’t high status

We’re not teaching you to act important.

Expensive clothes, money, beauty, or dominating a room don’t make anyone more valuable. This is about showing credibility, judgment, and self-respect without giving up who you are.

Influential people often pick up these visual, verbal, and social skills from how they were raised, where they studied, where they worked, and who mentored them. Those skills shouldn’t belong only to women who grew up around wealth or power. They can be studied, practiced, and taught.

What it’s built on

Four ideas run through every area.

Authentic differentiation

Stand out by being yourself

The goal isn’t to look like everyone else who gets taken seriously. It’s to make what’s already distinct about you easier to notice.

Inside-out transformation

Change from the inside out

The clothes and words come after the clarity. We start with what you want and what’s actually yours.

Impression management

Shape the impression on purpose

People form impressions either way. You can choose the signals you send instead of leaving them to chance.

True confidence

Confidence you can back up

Not a pep talk. Confidence that comes from skill, practice, and seeing what works in your own life.

How it’s taught

Calibrate. Own. Unmute.

Every area uses the same three steps, so you can keep using them long after the program ends.

CALIBRATE

Notice what’s actually happening.

What did someone say or do? What are you guessing?

OWN

Decide what’s yours to choose.

Whose response matters here—and what won’t you trade for it?

UNMUTE

Express it. Test what happens.

Make one deliberate change, then see what you learn.

Why this is rare

Most women never get to learn this from someone who learned it firsthand.

Sandy Dumont’s work was built for people whose impressions carried real weight. I learned it as her student and mentee, and I teach it in plain language so you can use it in your own client meetings, conversations, and rooms.

The goal is practical: be easier to take seriously, ask for what your work is worth, and feel like yourself while you do it.
